A Voice Heard in the Wilderness
The wilderness is not a place of scarcity — it is a place of encounter. There, God calls our name, and there, at last, we hear His voice.
The reason Israel walked through the wilderness for forty years was not merely judgment. There they learned to ask for manna each day, and there they learned to depend on God day by day.
Perhaps our daily life, too, resembles that wilderness. There are times when scarcity feels longer than abundance, and silence longer than answer. Yet within that very silence, we come to hear the true voice.
