2. Definitions

4. Eligibility

5. Accounts and Login

6. Acceptable Use

This website must be used in a manner consistent with Christian community values and the order of the Church. The following are prohibited:

7. Ministry Use and Important Notices

This website is a tool that supports the Church's ministry and community communication. Website content does not replace professional medical, counseling, legal, or financial advice.

If there is an urgent risk involving life, safety, violence, abuse, self-harm, or harm to others, do not rely on the website or message boards. Please call 911 or the appropriate emergency service immediately.

7.1 Mandatory Reporting

Under California law, pastors and some ministry workers may be required to report suspected child abuse, serious safety risks, or other legally specified situations to the appropriate authorities. The Church values pastoral care and confidentiality, but legal reporting obligations may take priority.

8. Children and Youth Protection

  • Parents or guardians should guide and supervise their children's website use.

10. User Content

When you post or submit content to the website, you grant the Church a non-exclusive permission to use that content for ministry purposes, including worship, fellowship, education, pastoral care, communications, promotion, and recordkeeping.

You may request that public display of your content be stopped or that content be deleted. However, some information may be retained for legal obligations, security, backups, church records, dispute response, or other necessary purposes.

Prayer requests and personal testimonies are not used to train artificial intelligence models.

11. Deletion and Retention

When you delete content, or when the Church hides or deletes a post, it may be removed from public display but may remain for a period of time in backups, security logs, audit records, or church administrative records.

12. Church Content

Church Content such as sermons, bulletins, educational materials, photos, and videos may be used for personal faith practice and Church ministry purposes. Commercial use, unauthorized modification, bulk copying, or redistribution without prior permission from the Church is prohibited.

13. Copyright Notices

If you believe that content on the website infringes your copyright, please contact the Church office. The Church will review the matter within a reasonable scope and take appropriate action where needed.

14. Third-Party Services

The website may use third-party services such as Supabase, Google, Kakao, and PayPal. The terms and privacy policies of those service providers may also apply to your use of those services.

15. Online Giving

Online giving may be processed through an external payment service such as PayPal. The Church does not directly store detailed payment method information such as credit card numbers.

16. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The website is provided as currently available. The Church does not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, the Church's liability is limited.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are interpreted under the laws of the State of California. Matters related to the Church's faith, polity, and internal governance are governed by the PCUSA Book of Order, the Church's bylaws, and applicable Church policies.

18. Changes to the Terms

The Church may update these Terms when needed. Important changes will be posted on the website. If you continue using the website after changes are posted, you will be considered to have accepted the updated Terms.
